Description

The Senior Power Platform Engineer builds Power Apps, Flows, user interfaces, visualizations, and data algorithms. Takes complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights and ultimately enable them to make the better business decisions. The Senior Power Platform Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Power Platform Engineer may work with stakeholders to write software and perform data analytics. Builds Power Apps, Power Flows and Power BI interactive visualizations for stakeholders. Assists in the development of our cloud based analytics platform. Can perform analytics based on stakeholder needs. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate

Experience with data extraction, querying, and stored procedures against Microsoft SQL Server

Experience with software development in a .NET environment

Experience developing applications that utilize web APIs

Solid Software Development practices including source control, testing, and readable code

Must be an effective communicator who works well in a team environment and is capable of mentoring others

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certification Power Platform Developer (PL-400)

Experience across the entire Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)

Familiarity with Pharmacy or Medical data domains

Experience with database design

Experience with and Azure technologies

Experience with Agile Development practices, e.g. Kanban

Familiarity with Oracle DBMS and Oracle tools

Familiarity with PowerShell

Familiarity with Microsoft Access/VBA
