Job Description
Your Responsibilities
as Head of HW Experience
Define and implement the GE Healthcare HW Experience design strategy, processes, best practices, and principles that will guide the development of our products & solutions portfolio and that will scale our industrial design approach and delivery for the company
Proactively collaborate with other stakeholders on all levels in and outside of the company and connect with them regularly to align on Portfolio planning, Roadmaps, Strategy, Budget as well as on HW Experience Design projects
Enable and lead your teams to optimally work towards our Northstar of a coherent and delightful, best-in-class portfolio experience for GEHC and to optimize the complete value streams for strategic HW experience design across the company. Create a high-performing team culture where people are happy, highly engaged, and skilled.
Guide the deliverables of your teams to meet our business objectives and to delight our customers, including the further development of our HW Design System and applying an agile and lean approach
Design, implement, and deliver modular and platform-based enclosures and HW User interfaces in order to support our customers’ daily practice, workflows and care paths seamlessly
create enthusiasm about professional experience design and help colleagues see the value of a human-focused approach to all business-related problem solving
Your Experience
as Head of HW Experience
Graduation or post-graduation in industrial design
15 years of industrial design and engineering experience, at least 5 years as people leader
Proven knowledge in industrial design, engineering & manufacturing of enclosures and HW user interfaces, including different tooling techniques, i.e. injection molding
proven experience of working with executive-level stakeholders and managing a large portfolio of projects
Experience in the healthcare industry desired
