Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations Division. We are looking for a Regional Energy Operations Manager who has a strong understanding of the industry. You will lead, plan, direct and coordinate our Energy Operations for multiple locations based out of Yuma, Colorado. You must be organized, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


Salary Range: $66,300.00 - $110,500
This position may be an opportunity for promotion.


Responsibilities

Oversee all daily operations with emphasis on efficiency, quality and safety standards.
Oversee dispatch activities, route forecasting and preparation and scheduling of work hours.
Oversee, own and execute on the data received from our energy platform through Energy Force, Optimizer, and Otodata.
Act as a working supervisor, lead by example, provide general work direction, and foster communication with a strong customer service mentality.
Ensure the ongoing maintenance of the vehicle fleet at the location by coordinating the preventative maintenance of vehicles, repairs, and licensing.
Maintain fuel, distribution and service-related inventory quality compliance and control including monthly inventories as directed by the Regional Energy Manager.
Supervise training for personnel in regard to job duties, safety, equipment requirements and quality control to insure proper functions of assigned duties.
Implement compliance programs at the location to include housekeeping, safety, etc., as directed.
Utilize staff and equipment within CHS to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Work in cooperation with company personnel to achieve established goals and objectives.
Provide input into budget and asset needs, oversee operations within approved operating budget.
Seek to improve personal skills and prepare to perform all support and fill-in duties when requested.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Travel expectations: 20%


Minimum Qualifications (required)


High school diploma or equivalency degree
8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Operations Management
Successfully leading a logistics or fleet operation
Transportation
Driving an operational excellence business model
Ability to travel as needed, 20% or more
Must live within assigned region


Additional Qualifications


Strong verbal and written communication skills
PreviousAgribusiness/Location management or Grain Sales experience preferred
Ability to motivate and lead team members

Agris and Energy Force program experience
Hazardous material transportation experience
Business Development / M&A experience.
