**Job Description**
We are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to join our growing LCS Service Technology team as we develop a next generation service technology platform. As Lead Systems Engineer, you will lead the technical design team, work collaboratively across functions to define product requirements, design, and execute programs to release service ecosystem products.
Responsibilities include:
Lead system design for LCS service technology programs
Ensure that product programs achieve all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs, including -feature and functionality, quality, reliability, scalability, serviceability, manufacture-ability, regulatory, compliance and cost.
Manage user, product, and systems requirements / specifications including their architectural decomposition and allocation to subsystems.
Supports, coordinates, and leads technical reviews.
Define system test strategy. Drive verification and validation activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
Manage interfaces between product modules and execution organizations.
Responsible for driving critical to quality (CTQ) / Risk tradeoffs
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of design & development experience preferably in medical device development.
Demonstrated experience building and deploying technology platforms.
Exposure to Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines.
Demonstrated experience with New Product Introductions (NPI), quality & regulatory compliance processes, and design history files.
Effective communication skills and boundaryless behaviorability to present ideas clearly and concisely
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
Practical, hands on experience with Agile methodologies.
Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems
Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation
Demonstrated technical depth with problem-solving techniques
Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion
Ability to manage multiple activities effectively
Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
Preferred Characteristics:
Masters Degree in Electronics, Biomedical, Computer Engineering or in an equivalent discipline.
Demonstrated experience in building and deploying applications on cloud and on Premise.
Practical, hands on experience with Agile methodologies.
In depth experience with GEHC processes and tools.
Demonstrated experience working with a multi-discipline, global team
Experience in design verification of complex systems
Experience in medical device standards and regulations
Experience with defect management tools
